Bismarckia Nobilis

Endemic palm of Madagascar, dioecious, with silver-blue fan-shaped leaves that can reach up to 3m in width and a grayish trunk, slow-growing, and can reach up to 25m in height.

Its temperature range is between -1ºC and 41ºC, it tolerates drought periods and strong winds, but it is sensitive to frost.

It requires moderate watering, avoiding waterlogging.

Flowering from May to September, which is why it is said to have perennial flowering, as it occurs uninterruptedly over long periods within the same year.

Its fruit is not edible and is considered mature for planting when it turns dark brown.

The seed may take more than a year to germinate and produce the first root.
