Brachychiton Populneus

It is native to Australia, a medium-sized, evergreen tree with a pyramidal shape, which can grow between 8-15m.

It is sensitive to severe frosts, but can withstand -4ºC and up to 43ºC.

It requires moderate watering in summer and minimal in winter, and can tolerate a certain degree of drought.

Blooming occurs in spring/summer, with bell-shaped flowers, cream or pale green in color with reddish parts inside, grouped in clusters.

The fruit is a capsule that opens at the optimal time for seed dispersal.
