Succulents comprise different plant families (Echeverias, Haworthias, Aloes, ....) characterized by their ability to store water in their leaves and, unlike cacti, they do not have areoles.

They are sensitive to excess water and need exposure to full sun or partial shade.

From the end of spring to the beginning of autumn, they produce flower stalks, which end in small flowers, more or less clustered, depending on the plant family.
