Citrus Sinensis

It originates from Southeast Asia (India, Vietnam, China), and is an evergreen tree, medium-sized (3-5m).

It can withstand temperatures down to -7ºC as long as it is sporadic and reach up to 39ºC.

They require abundant watering, but care must be taken to avoid waterlogging.

Fragrant flowering (orange blossom), between March-April and lasts for a month.

The harvesting season depends on the variety, encompassing all of them; early varieties begin to be harvested in September, and the latest ones until May-June.
